I live in Tucson Arizona, which is sandwiched between Saguaro National park. I spend a lot of time staring at black lines at the bottom of a pool. I love making/creating from painting to knitting to DIY. My rescue pit bull, Frida likes to eat oranges.

Having earned two degrees in Fine Art, with a specialization in photography, I possess a high level of expertise in various art mediums, both in practice and instruction. Before transitioning my career, I had a successful tenure of over 15 years as a Secondary Art Educator. While I cherished my time as an educator, I am now thrilled about the prospect of applying the finely honed skills, ranging from emotional intelligence to time management, in new and exciting opportunities.

I’ve been actively pursuing a new career and to this end, I learned full-stack web development in 2021. The process of solving, writing, and getting your code to perform is thrilling. After some reflection, felt that I was better suited to UX than development. However, by having the full-stack knowledge, I can communicate effectively with developers and have realistic expectations of what can be completed.

My primary focus within the realms of UX revolves around conducting comprehensive research and skillfully synthesizing user data and requirements to achieve optimal outcomes with certainly. I possess expertise in adeptly negotiating with individuals and groups, enabling me to refine and pinpoint the specific needs and expectations of the audience effectively. I have a knack for asking probing questions, consistently seeking innovative ideas and solutions. When it comes to acquiring knowledge, I am tenacious and determined, going above and beyond to reach out to users, leaving no stone unturned in my pursuit of answers.
